Geographical Analysis for Temperature Level Changes in Pshdar District During 1993 To 2023
Naz Hussein Haji, Luqman Wsu Omer
Knowing and determining the level and the amount of temperature change and the mass of air is an important issue. It can be used to know the amount and the direction of temperature averages, because it has a big impact on the other atmosphere components. Although comprehending the amount and the direction of these temperature levels can be unclear according to the human senses and physiology, but when we do the analysis of these data according to a specific period of time for average temperatures using tables and graphics,we may get more precise results. In this research, which is done in Pishdar district, we relied on metrological stations like (Dukan and Sardasht) for a period of 31 years. In order to get accurate results, we used the quantity analyzing method for analyzing monthly, seasonal and yearly data. The Theoretical framework method for describing important factors affecting the climate change This research shows that the direction of temperature changes is important for temperature levels, with an increase of 3°C over the period of this study in the stations, which is higher than the global average temperature change of the same time.Among the analysed directions, the highest monthly and seasonal temperature change happened in winter, specially in February, with an increase of 4.4°C in Sardasht station. The lowest increase was seen in autumn, specifically in October, with a rise of only 2°C in Dukan station.

Climate change has recently shown signs of global warming due to increased human activities and burning of fossil fuels, which has led to increased concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Climate change has negative effects on the global climate generally and the Middle East and Iraq especially. Climate change also impacts on research areas by increasing temperatures and decreasing precipitation. This paper analyses time and direct temperature with the distribution of the yearly and seasons in Dukan district during research studies between (2003-2022). This research study attempts to answer these questions: is it a change in temperature in the study area? Is the change of temperature direction by increase or decrease? What are the factors for changes in temperature and distribution yearly and seasons in the region? The methodology of the research is using inductive and analysis with collecting data from the weather stations of the Dukan area using (SPSS, ArcGIS, and Excel) to find the relationship between temperature and other elements of climate. The research got some results: changes in climate were increased during the study area in the maximum and minimum temperature and average temperature in the seasons and average years.

Climate change is progressively becoming a serious and discussed issue. Besides this, there are clear evidence, observed, and confirmatory reasons for the multi-dimensional climate change impacts worldwide. Just as the countries and regions have not played an equal role in environmental pollution, heat retention, and climate change. Similarly, the effects of these phenomena are significantly different in the countries; thus, many of the main vulnerable places and others are its beneficiaries. Apart from other fields, the areas that are heavily damaged will also be affected in terms of political geography and geopolitics. Generally, the Middle East, typically Iraq, is one of the countries that will be heavily affected by climate change. This research investigates the climate change geopolitical dimensions of Iraq using the descriptive-analytical method. The findings illustrate that present and future climate change are the provenance of many complications, including environmental, economic, and political and security, both at national and international level.

In this research is conducted about the impact of climate change on walnut production in Biara Sub-district. Descriptive – analytical method was utilized to obtain the proposed objectives by using SPSS – 16. The predominant objective of this analysis is to illustrate the inevitable impact of climate change on the walnut production in 1973-2017. The results on which the study was based on are Pearson Correlation which demonstrates that there is an indirect correlation between temperature and walnut production, and an equivalent relation with precipitation. For instance, in Multiple Regression Analysis, the impact of temperature and precipitation on small walnut trees is 4%, and on medium walnut trees is 25.8%, whereas on big walnut trees it is 24.8%. Moreover, in Coefficient of Determination, the effect of temperature on small walnut trees is 3.4%, on medium and large walnut trees increase to 18.6% and 24.7% respectively. However, precipitation impact is less than 1%, except medium walnut trees is less than 6%. The apparent wide gaps between temperature and precipitation which affects production is due to low topographic elevation and the presence of 82 springs in the study area. Additionally, an increase in temperature, a decrease in precipitation and subfreezing temperatures, in other words, chill dates, in spring time, ultimately leads to an increase in hazardous insects such as stem worms and beetle. These issues could be solved through selecting different varieties of walnuts and planting at higher elevation, construct more irrigation projects and regular irrigation, in particular during drought seasons, improving agricultural facilities and importing sufficient pesticides to tackle walnut trees diseases, is also among the precautionary methods.
