Building and Implementing a Scale for the Problems and Obstacles Faced by Football Players from the Perspective of the Fans of Duhok and Zakho Clubs

Jameel Ahmad Hussen, Nihad Ibrahim Teib, Sarbaz Braim Khdir

The research aims to: develop a scale to measure the problems and obstacles faced by football players from the audience's perspective, and identify the obstacles and problems faced by football players from the audience's perspective. The descriptive approach was chosen because it is appropriate for the nature of the research. The research community consists of fans who follow football matches in sports stadiums during the 2024-2025 season, numbering approximately 50,000 in Dohuk Province. The research sample was deliberately selected, numbering 508 individuals, representing 1.02% of the total population. A scale consisting of twenty-three items was created, and the discriminant validity and internal consistency of the scale were found, and the stability of the scale was determined. Statistical methods were used, including arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-test for independent samples, and percentage to analyses the results and obtain the research objectives. After collecting the public's opinions on the obstacles, the following results were obtained: A scale with high scientific validity (in terms of reliability, stability, and objectivity) was obtained, which can be used to identify obstacles and problems facing football from the audience's point of view. The following obstacles were identified: 1- The following obstacles appeared repeatedly: a) Do injuries and suspensions affect the match and the players? b) Are the players affected?

The Correlation Between Certain Pre-Competition Functional Indicators and Psychosomatic Symptoms in Football Players

Ahmed Saeed Ahmed, Faridun Qadir Hama Rash, Muhammad Qadir Hama Rash

Given the substantial influence of these variables on athletic performance, this study sought to determine the nature of the relationship between psychosomatic symptoms (such as anxiety, tension, and fear) and certain physiological functional variables (such as blood pressure, respiration, and pulse rate) among soccer players both in normal circumstances and prior to competing in sports. Since the descriptive approach is most suited to the nature of the issue, the researcher used it on a purposeful sample of twenty-two Peshmerga Sports Club players who are playing in the Kurdistan Premier League. Devices for detecting blood pressure and pulse as well as a psychological questionnaire created by Allawi (1987) to gauge psychosomatic symptoms were among the research instruments. There were two stages to the experiment: the first took place four days prior to the competition, and the second took place one hour before the competition. In both scenarios, the players' answers to the psychosomatic symptom scale were examined, and functional data (blood pressure, respiration, and pulse) were noted. The researcher came to the following conclusions: - The psychosomatic symptoms scale shows significant differences between the normal and pre-competition states in favor of the pre-competition sports; - The functional variables (systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, respiration, and heart rate) show significant differences between the normal and pre-competition states in favor of the pre-competition sports. The researcher made the following recommendations in light of this: Because of its impact on the body's systems, athletes' psychological readiness must be guaranteed as a factor influencing their level of performance. Football players' psychological characteristics can be objectively measured by using psychological scales. By holding intense and somber games and meetings, participants are acclimated to the competitive environment. The psychologist's function in lowering pressure before a competition. Performing a comparable study on several athletic events using the same research methods and factors.

The Effect of Special Strength Training Exercises with Different Resistances on The Anaerobic Capacity and Muscle Fatigue Index of Young Football Players

Tahseen Sulayman Qadir, Eyad Muhammad Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, Rizgar Majeed Khidr Khoshnaw

The research aims to show the importance of the differences in aerobic and muscle tiredness between the pre and post tests for the first experimental group that used strength training for protecting body weight, for the second experimental group that used strength training for protect extra weights , and for the third experimental group that used strength training for body protection. The researcher considered the sight of the importance of the data differences in the aerobic capability and the muscle tiredness in the pre and post tests for the first experimental group that used the strength training for weight protection. As for the research sample, it was chosen intentionally, as it shows (70.41%) of the youth of football sports club. The experimental idea was used and the number of implements were used to gather data and many investigative experiments were managed. To be certain the cogency of the performance of the tests, the researcher also used the data package (SPPS) to drown out the outcome, where data methods were used . Throughout these outcomes the researcher came to a group of feedbacks the most significant one is the latest strength training for body weight protection performed by the first experimental group. An important development was made in the aerobic capability and muscle tiredness for the young football players and the particular strength training made by protecting body weight + extra weights (mixed), there was an important development in the aerobic capability and muscle tiredness for young football players and the aerobic capability did not show an important difference between the research groups in the post test.

The Effect of Plyometric Training with Extra Weights On the Development of Some Physiological Varisbilities of Football Player- Juniors

Halkawt kamal khizir, Sherif Qadir Sherif Qadir

The research aims to prepare a training curriculum with plyometric exercises and extra weights for the junior category, and to identify the impact of this training program in developing of some physiological varisbilities, as well as to identify differences between the results of the pre and post test in the first and second experimental groups in the development of some physiological varisbilities, and to identify differences in the results Post-test between the first and second experimental groups in developing of some physiological varisbilities. The research problem appears in the lack of use of exercises that improve the muscular strength of football players, which may cause a clear discrepancy in the level of the general performance of the team, and most of the exercises were traditional or random, and the researcher believes that adding weights with plyometric exercises may improve strength significantly. Plyometric training by adding weights through the design of a training curriculum using plyometric exercises to find out the impact on the development of some physiological varisbilities. The researcher uses the experimental method by using two groups (the first and the second) in the pre and post tests due to its suitability and the nature of the problem. The researcher deliberately selected the research community from the players of the junior team in the Chwarqurna Sports Club Academy, which is represented by (45) players, and (25) players were chosen randomly by drawing lots to conduct the main experiment on them, and (5) players were excluded for not committing to training during a period The experiment, and the research sample was divided by the intentional method into two groups (the experimental one and the second one) with (10) players in the first experimental group and (10) players in the second experimental group. The researcher reached the latest proposed training curriculum for development in all physiological varisbilities under investigation except (anoxic capacity, pulse rate before exertion) in the first group, and (anoxic capacity, pulse rate before and after exertion, respiratory rate after exertion) in the second group.

The researcher concluded that the proposed training curriculum developed in all the physical variables under study, (strength characterized by speed, transitional speed, length of speed, explosive strength of the two legs) for the first and second experimental groups, except for (strength distinguished by speed) in the second experimental group.
