Omeed Yaseen Rasool, Muhammad Abdullah Kaksawar

Many people thought that the Kurdish national movement had come to an end after the September revolution of 1975, but the Kurds rose up once more, forming a number of new political parties as Kurdish history entered a new era and the armed struggle began. Syria and Libya generously donated money and military support to these parties. Additionally, the Kurds placed a high value on the sympathy and assistance of the Palestinian parties, and this time is especially notable for the strong external contacts of the Kurdish parties.
