Multilingual Analysis in Eastern Religion and Mythology

Human beings have continuously shown interest in the diversity and wide range of languages. However, this linguisticphenomenon has never been explained properly by humans. Hence, in every intellectual development that the humanshave gone through, a question concerning the variety of languages has caught human’s attention and seek to get an answerfor it. From the early stages of cognitive development, religious and mythological practices, as some of the earliest periodsof human cognitive development, have historically addressed a wide range of existential and philosophical questions.Among these is the origin of linguistic diversity, which pointed as a subject that has caught in the human’s interest.Therefore, for instance the analysis of sacred texts and mythological narratives show that many traditions have offeredexplanations for this phenomenon of linguistic. According to our findings, we can understand the fact that theseexplanations which appear in foundational religious writing books points out how important this question was even for theearly stages of human beings. Moreover, this research attempts to study how linguistic diversity is shown in religious andmythological texts. We have analyzed the examples we have collected so far, as well as the origins of these religious andmythological texts we have collected are identified. The research methodology uses a descriptive-analytical, and theresearch materials consist of religious and mythological texts that discuss the phenomenon of this linguistic diversity. Theresearch is divided into two parts, the first part lays out the theoretical, and introducing the key concepts of the study,including linguistic diversity, its reasons, and interpretations of linguistic diversity from religious, mythological,philosophical, and scientific viewpoints. It then discusses mythology, types of mythology, and the importance of mythologyas a source for answering human questions. The second part is dedicated to analyzing and interpreting religious andmythological texts that address linguistic diversity, examining how each text interprets this phenomenon through differentperspectives.
