Designing tests for some physical abilities and predicting the level of performance skill for academic school football players at the ages of (13-14) years
Sarbaz braim khdir, Nawzad husen darwesh
The study aims to design tests to measure some physical abilities in the study sample, to find standard grades and levels for some tests of physical abilities in the study sample, preparing equations to predict the level of performance skill of soccer players in terms of mobility tests in the research sample. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the research community was selected from football academy players with ages (13-14) years in Raparin. The research sample was selected intentionally, which included (260) players. So as to reach the results, the researcher used a set of statistical programs by using SPSS. It was concluded to find and determine the grades and standard levels modified for the research sample in the physical tests. It is concluded that these tests can be accepted as an evaluation method and indicator to show the player's physical and skillful condition, and to define an equation to predict the level of performance skill in terms of physical abilities.
Volume 9 · Issue 2 · March 2022The Translation Between Competence and Performance
Hanan Salih Rashid, Omar Mahmood Kareem
This study is an attempt to clarify translation between mother tongue and foreign languages; it means the translations between two different languages. The contents consist of (introduction, idiomatic translation, proverbial translation, literary translation, and the terms that untranslatable). In literary translation we choose the poetry for two reason, firstly its main topic of literary translation, secondly its difficult topic translation. This study tries to show the difficulties and obstacles of each of these subjects, because each of them has a set of cultural and social characteristics, and they have a direct and complete relationship with human emotions and feelings. We mean choosing this title is human genitals will be a competence and any languages other than this language will be a performance for it, and also competence and performance will form an important part of all the languages of the world, because the competence is the basis of the creation of language, and performance is the expression of the language, and this caused choosing the subject and mixing with translation.

Imad Ali Omar
Abstract: Water treatment plant (WTP) is essential for providing clean and safe water to the habitants. There is a necessity to evaluate the performance of (WTP) for proper treatment of raw water. The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the quality of treated water by investigating the performance of Ifraz-2 (WTP) units located in Erbil City, Iraq. For assessment of the (WTP) units, samples were taken for a duration of five months from different locations: raw water (the source), post-clarification processes, post-filtration processes, and from the storage tank. Removal efficiencies for the units, and for the whole (WTP) were calculated and presented. Obtained removal efficiencies for the sedimentation unit; filtration unit; and the entire Ifraz-2 (WTP) were 91.51 %, 64.71 %, and 97.29 %, respectively. After the process of disinfection and storage, the valued of the turbidity of the treated water were ranged from 1.2 to 9.7 (Nephelometric Turbidity Units) NTU. Besides, water quality index (WQI) for the (WTP) was studied and calculated for 14 physicochemical water quality parameters. WQI for Ifraz-2 (WTP) was 51.87 and it is regarded as a good level. Also, operational problems have been detected and reported during the research period, especially during sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. Suitable solutions have been reported to the operational team.
