The Effect of the Geographical Place of Raparin Administration on the Migration of Young People out of Kurdistan Region

Migration is considered a significant source of unnatural population growth and, after natural increase, is a major factor responsible for unnatural population growth. It includes changing the places of residence of individuals, groups, and families and settling them in a new environment, in order to provide a better life and welfare than in their previous places of residence. There are many different kinds of migration, which are caused by a number of factors, and have many negative and positive consequences. This research is devoted to the impact of the geographical situation of the Raparin administration on youth migration abroad. The Raparin administration is one of the new administrations in Sulaymaniah province. This study aims to show the effect of geographical situation on this phenomenon, which is due to a number of geographical factors that have affected the increase in migration in the region, including: geographical situation, nearness to a neighboring country, distance from urban centers, abundance of population, population composition, lack of investment projects, etc. With the present statistics of this migration in recent years, suggestions and solutions to reduce the negative consequences of this phenomenon have been made.
