Liya Hassan Mohammed
The current research aims to identify the role of psychological factors on non-restriction of drivers by the traffic law, and also to identify the role of psychological factors on non-restriction of drivers by the traffic law according to change (gender, age, and certification). Their ages are between (18-45) years of both sexes, and for this purpose, the researcher used the (Zahraa: 2016) scale, which consists of (30) items, and is divided into (4) dimensions and psychological factors, including (the negative attitude of traffic laws, the role of psychological emotions in non-compliance with traffic laws, adventurous motivation, excitement, stress and work pressure). The researcher used the psychometric property of the scale, where the apparent validity was achieved and the stability was extracted using Cronbach's alpha method, where the percentage of the scale's validity was (100%), and the scale's stability was (0.80). Drivers' commitment to psychological factors is confirmed according to age groups. The role of psychological factors in the age group (18-25) is higher than in the age group (26-35), and this is also compared to the age group (36-45). Regarding the certificate variable (educational achievement), this study found that the higher the academic achievement, the higher the positive trends, and the lower the role of psychological factors. Finally, suggestions and recommendations were presented.
