Abstract

The theory of mythological criticism is based on creating a comparison between literary texts, according to the concept of the collective unconscious, the subconscious, the highest and sacred primitive patterns, myths, beliefs, sacred symbols, and imaginary structure. Diyar aradny is no different from others who wrote legendary novels, although we find in him creativity in his novels, diversit y in sources, and creation of a new horizon and motivation for the reader. In his novels, he benefited from primitive patterns that depend on mythological criticism and similar texts and their mechanisms to be in line with modern critical thought. In this research, we will try to reveal the types of primitive patterns and some of the mechanisms of mythological criticism in these three novels that were chosen, and how these primitive patterns were reflected in the novels (Fiar, Eva, Kaf) by Diyar aradny. At the same time, the research attempted to uncover the myth and symbol in these novels. The author benefited from the mythological background of the novel. He tried to embody it in all parts and themes of his novels and use the mechanisms of mythological criticism in his novels.
