The Reflection of Postmodern Thought in Contemporary Sculpture in Kurdistan Region/Iraq
Wasan Badri Muhsin, Bayan Mani
Postmodernism, an impactful artistic movement from the 1960s to the 1990s, critiques modern art while accepting various art forms and critical philosophies. It, however, places focus on modern day art and its meaning far beyond the traditional framework. In the case of Kurdistan, Postmodernism comes with these traits alongside the Kurdish cultural heritage and history. It is honest to note that Kurdish artists strive to illustrate the delicate balance of the Kurdish society and identity through a rich tapestry of common experiences and memories. In Kurdistan, Postmodernism is an expedition of innovative self-exploration and continuing inquiry. It aims to intend to provide a perspective that enables wider artistic freedom while upholding the essence of Kurdish culture. In this context, the Kurdish art is continuously encouraged to actively participate in the universal dialogue about art and culture.

Many sorts of syllable division is done with it. That shows the similarities and differences of the types of syllable. It provides an insight into the various structures and patterns of the sounds of a language shedding light on rules and constraints with explaining the framework of making syllable. As a whole, syllables in terms of inner and outer structures are different in dealing with different aspects of the syllable and together they accomplish a syllable. Concerning the state of opening and closing the organs of speech of humans, it is divided into two types (opened syllable and closed syllable) In this study the opened syllable is dealt with. It means the state of opening the organs of speech during speaking. Thus, the syllable is ended with a vowel sound. Central Kurdish dialect is used fot the data in this study. the data are taken in the dictionary of (Hambana Borina) and is the main source with the library style of the other conducted studies in this field. Examples of (106) a single-syllable words are taken. Syllable has its own characteristics in the framework of optimality theory. Due to the constraints that affect the structure of the syllables. In the deep structure while forming any syllable some candidates will be prepared that go through a phonological process to have the best candidate. This has a direct affect on opening, closing and blocking the airways (trachea). All these process hapen in the deep structure then they will be uttered through the surface structure by choosing the best opened syllable.

Evidence of The Disbelief of Philosophers by Imam Ghazali (505 AH – 1111 AD)
Khalid Esmail Hamad, Kamaran Aziz Abdulla
The title of this scientific research includes several philosophical issues in which the philosophers before Ghazali were wrong, especially in the issue of the antiquity of the universe and the issue of science and God is aware of all and is unaware of unity, and resurrection of body. I have presented here Ghazali's discussion for these issues, how Ghazali answered the philosophers on twenty issues, blasphemed them on three issues, misled them on seventeen issues, and attacked them and answered them point by point According to philosophical researchers, these answers were a deadly blow that Ghazali dealt to Islamic philosophy. Later, Ibn Rushd tried to prevent this attack and wrote the book Tahaft al-Tahaft, in which he responded to Ghazali point by point and rebuked him Because Ghazali took Aristotle's philosophy directly from Farabi and Ibn Sina and did not go back to the main source of Aristotle's philosophy. Ghazali repeated the same mistakes of Farabi and Avicenna, while these two philosophers had misinterpreted and misunderstood Aristotle's philosophy. In general, in addition to an abstract in Kurdish and English, my research consists of an introduction, conclusions, and a list of sources, and four main themes organized as follows: - The first theme: Ghazali's method of rejecting philosophers - The second theme / the issue of the antiquity of universe - The third them / the issue of God's knowledge of universality and ignorance of unity - The fourth topic / the issue of resurrection of the body

Murid, his Condition, his Spiritual Station and his Relationships with the Sheikh of the Tariqa according to the Orientalist Annemarie Schimmel (1922-2003)
Delvin Mohammed Saeed Mustafa, Zrar Siddiq Tawfiq
The Murid, his condition, his spiritual station and his relationship with the Sheikh of the Tariqa constitute significant topics within the historical discourse of Islamic Sufism. This significance arises from the necessity for the Murid to move through specific conditions and spiritual stages early on in the Sufi path to achieve elevated spiritual states. To accomplish this, he needs a guide that is to select a Sheikh for him. This topic was of particular interest to the orientalist Annemarie Schimmel (1922-2003). She focuses on the importance of this subject in the history of Islamic Sufism, providing detailed information not found in the works of other historians and orientalists. According to Schimmel, after the selection and acceptance phases between the Murid and the Sheikh, a deep bond of affection is formed between them. The Sheikh guides the Murid through various spiritual stages and the Murid attentively follows the Sheikh's guidance and advice. Put differently, the Murid attains these states through his personal effort. Subsequently, the Murid experience various situations based on the stages in which he finds himself. Over time, and with the growing number of the Murids under the Sheikhs’ guidance, the Tariqa emerged as a natural consequence of this expansion. Hence, it becomes evident for us that both the Sheikh and the Murid collectively constitute the principal subjects and components in the history of Islamic Sufism. They have therefore been chosen as the title of this research.

The Types of the punishments Imposed on the Exiles in the Period of the Abbasid Age between (334−656 H / 946−1285 AD)
Ahmad Mirza Mirza, Sihad Asaad Omar
According to Qur'an and the hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him)، the exile is a stable punishment which all the Shari’ah scholars are agree on. On the other hand، the scholars of Shari'ah agree that exile is a form of punishment (al-ta'zir) reprimand and abandoned according to the opinion of the Caliph. The purpose of this punishment was to prevent crime or to set limits as much as possible. Exile means the removal of the convict from his criminal environment to another place، just as the duration of the convict's stay in the place to which he was removed is left to the authorities. In addition، despite the expulsion of the convicts، they faced various forms of torture that were different from previous periods، due to the emergence of different authorities in the management of state affairs with the caliph، including Bani Buya (334-447 AH/945-1055 AD)، who they were from Daylam and were Persians، and Seljuks (447-656 AH/1055-1258 AD) who were from the land beyond the river and were of Turkish. That’s، during this historical time، there were other authorities who pursued various policies of torture against their opponents in order to defeat and to threaten them.

Educational Bilingualism and Language attrition
Hazha Chicho Mohammed Amin, Sherzad Saheed Sedeeq
In recent years, a large number of English-language schools have been allowed to be established by the Ministry of Education, and the number is increasing year by year. Though the establishment of such schools was originally meant to be for bilingual education, but teaching of Kurdish in these schools has faced big problems, because Kurdish lessons are not given enough attention and least weekly lessons have been allocated for Kurdish. The researcher aims to show that the language of instruction in schools can have a significant impact on the mother tongue. This shows the role of schools in preserving and reviving Kurdish language. Moreover, the researcher aims to show the differences of Kurdish language attrition between students who study in English and those who study in Kurdish, which is shown by comparing them. The data and the tools used in the study are a questionnaire, which consists of four headings and 25 subheadings. Quantitative method was used to collect the data. After distributing the questionnaire form to the research community and answering the questions of the questionnaire by the participants and receiving the answers, the obtained data were analyzed using each of the statistical rules of Regression and One Way ANOVA. The researcher concluded that schools as non-linguistic basis accounted for 44.6% of mother tongue attrition among the students in the study sample. This is a very high and effective rate. This proves that such schools have not created a balanced language environment for students. This is why there is a big difference in mother tongue attrition between students attending English-medium schools and those attending Kurdish-medium schools.

Distributed Morphology in Kurdish Language
Bazyan Yuns Muhiadin, Sabah Rashed Qadir, Azad Ramazan Ali
Distributed Morphology (DM), Which is the title of our research, Consider as challenging traditional linguistics by proposing a unified system for building both complex word and sentential structures Instead of relying on a separate lexicon for word Formation . Many of the particulars of the theory of distributed morphology grew from discussions between Morris and Marantz , starting around 1990 , the seeds of the theory planted in Morris is thinking , as summarized in . Marantz is contribution identifies as crucial to the birth of DM . This theory radically that joined two core assumption: (1) syntactic approaches to word structure (2) a rejection of a phonologized set of phonological pieces stemming from realizational theories of morphology . DM argues that both words and Sentences are Constructed dynamically through the Same Syntactic operations, this abstract will introduce the Core principles of DM and illustrate its application with an example, we depended on: Syntactic hierarchy all the way down: Elements within both syntax and morphology participate in hierarchical structures, similar to how sentences are built. No lexicon: Word Formation isn’t Pre-Stored in a dedicated lexicon: words are assembled on-the-Fly during Syntactic derivation. Three Component lists: DM relies on three lists: the Formative list (syntactic building blocks) The exponency list (Phonological Content), and the Feature list (Semantic/ Syntacit properties). Late insertion: Phonological realization occurs late in the process, after Syntactic Structure is built.

The Process of Affixation in Kurdish Language in Phonological, Morphological and Lexical Theory
Hawkar Omer Khidhir, Dler Sadiq Kanaby
Kurdish is one of the agglutinative languages in which affixes play a great role in the morphological processes. In language, affixes can make phonological variations to bases, or they can change the structure of a word that has not been formed according to a rule-based process. These issues belong to some of the former theories in words analysis. However, this theory can analyze these variations according to schemas. Affixes, with phonological impact on bases, are categorized into two groups (partial affix) and (neutral affix). Due to their shared characteristics, they are found in a specific structural position and placed into a lexical level. The order of the processes of inflectional affixes is set according to the sequences of lexical levels. In Kurdish, (derivational suffixes) are categorized as partial affixes; that is, they are effective and change the position of main power of words that occur in the first lexical level; (derivational prefixes), however, are not effective and cannot change the bases, and they occur in the second lexical level. Thus, in Kurdish, the position of power can occur at the end of the lexical words.

The Role and Participation of Women in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) (1945-1990).
Kwestan Ahmad Khdir, Hoshmand Ali Mahmood
This research focuses on the role and participation of women in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) (1945-1990), which is a period of enormous significance in the history of women's struggle in Eastern Kurdistan in general and within the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan in particular. During this historical phase, censorship and patriarchal traditions deprived women in Iranian society and Eastern Kurdistan specifically of their rights and freedoms. During the final stages of the Second World War, a number of international and domestic factors led to significant changes in Iranian society, politics, and social life, under the leadership of the newly empowered Mohammad Reza Shah. Among these changes was the establishment of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan-Iran and subsequently the Kurdistan Republic (also known as the Republic of Mahabad), where women from Eastern Kurdistan entered the scene for the first time within their own political and organizational frameworks, playing an influential and active role. The primary research question is: To what extent did women in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan participate in political, national, and armed struggle in Eastern Kurdistan? What were the internal and external obstacles and factors that impeded these steps? What role did they play in raising awareness in society? This study further emphasizes the roles and responsibilities of women within the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan in political, military, organizational, health, educational, and training domains.

According to the basic map, the city consists of 12 neighborhoods and has an area of 567.1 hectares. As for the municipal borders, its widest area is about 1400 hectares. In the study area (47) parks and gardens with a total area of 250983 m2 and 10 playgrounds with an area of 70007 m2. The geographical distribution of services is that most of the parks are located in the western and lana city neighborhoods of the city, both of which contain 24 parks, which constitutes 50% of the total area. Azadi neighborhood constitutes 26.3% of the total. Most of the playgrounds are located in Razgari neighborhood, which includes four playgrounds and constitutes 40% of the playgrounds. 39.1% in terms of area. As a result of using service evaluation. The individual's exposure to the service was found to be less than the standards. Regarding the number of playgrounds, there is no problem because compared to the population (10-11), there is a need for a playground for the city, but the space is clearly insufficient. In terms of distribution, services are generally random and dispersed. Finally, the study presented several recommendations, most notably increasing the number of parks to the required area and also increasing the area of playgrounds by building new playgrounds or increasing their area in the event of unused land around them.

The Status of Christians in the Mosul Province Under the Policies of the Ottoman State (1879–1900 AD)
Luqman Mohammedamin Babakr, Dara Tawfeeq Kaka Amin
This study discusses the status and conditions of the Christian communities in the Mosul Province during the Ottoman era, specifically between the years 1879 and 1900. Focusing on the non-Muslim religious components of the province, particularly Christians, the research highlights their importance and unique position. The key factors behind this importance include the province’s strategically significant geographical location and the interest shown by European countries in Christians as political, religious, economic, and military allies. These dynamics greatly influenced the Ottoman authorities’ policies and perceptions toward this group. The study draws from sources that indicate Christians held notable roles in administration, education, healthcare, and religious services within the province. Their presence and contributions were shaped by Ottoman policies that, while granting certain rights and privileges (such as exemption from military service), also subjected them to various restrictions and inequalities. Compared to other non-Muslim groups in the province, Christians often enjoyed more privileges, yet they also frequently faced injustice and oppression from officials and the state. This research specifically sheds light on a distinct period in Ottoman policy toward Christians in Mosul, addressing questions such as: To what extent were Christians respected as an internal community of the state? What was their lifestyle like during this period? How integrated were they into the state’s administrative institutions? And how did international developments influence the Ottoman Empire’s treatment of Christians? These and other questions form the core objectives of the study.

Bertrand Russell’s Philosophy of Education
Hawkar Hamad Khdir, Batool Ridha Abbas
Russell’s views on education are both interesting and controversial. Similar to Rousseau and Locke, he considered education to be a process of “self-habit.” Russell believed that children are like raw materials at birth, and it is our responsibility to shape them. In the beginning, it is very easy to influence a child, whether positively or negatively, because children are neither inherently good nor bad at birth. What influences them is, on one hand, an unknown nature, and on the other hand, education and various environmental factors that shape this raw material—the child. Habits and conditioning, whether for better or worse, ultimately lead to either happiness or misery. A child is born with certain instincts and develops habits under the influence of the environment, which may be good or bad. This is largely determined by the intelligence and wisdom of the parents and guardians, as the nature of the child from the beginning is so soft, compliant, and receptive that it is almost unbelievable. Most children are capable of becoming either good or bad individuals, as the instincts and reactions they possess become stable habits and characteristics due to environmental and educational influences—especially during childhood. For this reason, the foundation of a child’s behavior and personality is formed early in life. Russell believed that moral education—the education of a child’s soul and personality—should begin at an early age to help them become positive, brave, and intelligent members of society. According to him, this can be achieved with most children, often with very good results.

Optimization of Support Vector Regression for Improved Prediction Accuracy in Cross-Sectional Data Using Genetic Algorithms
Hindreen Abdullah Taher, Aras Jalal Mhamad, Ahsan Abdalkhaliq Taha
Support Vector Regression (SVR) is a machine learning technique designed to predict continuous values by extending the principles of Support Vector Machines (SVM) into regression tasks. The performance of SVR models can be constrained by the selection of hyperparameters, which significantly affect the model’s predictive accuracy. To overcome this challenge, Genetic Algorithms (GA) can be utilized to optimize the hyperparameters of the SVR model. The GA demonstrated a steady improvement in fitness over 100 iterations. In this study, researchers focus on optimizing SVR for improved predictive accuracy in analysing cross-sectional data related to COVID-19 pandemic in Sulaymaniyah governorate. By leveraging GA for hyperparameter tuning, our research aims to evaluate the performance of a SVR with GA combined for optimizing complex, non-linear relationships in cross-sectional data, and improve the accuracy of the SVR model through GA. While previous research has explored optimizing similar models, to the best of the researchers' knowledge, this is the first study to apply such an optimized model to this specific dataset in Iraq and for medical field. The integration of SVR with Genetic Algorithms represents a novel approach in predictive modeling for COVID-19 pandemic related complications. Initially, the GA achieved a low mean fitness value of 0.0451, which steadily increased, reaching a peak of 0.0792. The results underscore the efficacy of this hybrid approach in finding optimal solutions, with predictions showing good alignment with actual data values. Overall, the integration of GA and SVR provided a robust method for solving complex optimization problems.

The Judicial Review of the Income Tax in Iraq, the United Kingdom and the United States
Rezhen Ismael Omar
The scope of this research is to identify and consider the methods by which courts in Iraq, the United Kingdom and the United States scrutinize income tax laws and their application. In order to compare the mechanisms of judicial review in these three countries, a comparative legal approach is used. This research analyzes constitutional and procedural landscape of judicial challenge of tax legislation by way of case law analysis, procedural rules, and case precedents. It also constitutes a study of the relationship between the judiciary as a detector and the legislative power as the maker of laws regarding taxation. The novelties in the tax laws and the numerous consequences of taxing and exemption procedures make significant concerns about the judicial exercise of interpretation and review of tax policies. Allegedly, this research aims to examine how efficiently judicial review works in relation to taxation laws across various legal frameworks and the problems when it comes to equal and proper implementation of taxation principles. Iraq, the UK, and the US have different constitutional and legal systems which determine their ways of dealing with Judicial Review. This paper examines the challenges a comparatively young legal system in Iraq experiences in exercising judicial review concerning tax issues. English law enables far reaching judicial review and the US has a robust system of review through the constitutionally provided checks and balances system. Both systems’ consideration of how tax laws were to be reviewed has therefore been colored by history, politics and societies in the two countries. The research finds that judicial review serves an important preventive function that helps maintain the legal and reasonable taxation regimes, at least as long as their highest courts continue to act as they have in the past; however, the intensity and aggressiveness of review have been decreasing gradually in the three countries. As with any major system of public regulation, judicial oversight and supervision remain crucial for global confidence in taxation systems while the presumption of the extend and scope of judicial intrusion remains very much open to debate in every system.

War-Induced Trade Shocks
Hewa Othman Ismael
This research aims to investigate the impact of the Russia-Ukrainian war on Iraq’s import-export dynamics with Ukraine. The study employs statistical tools such as the Wilcoxon rank test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and Shapiro-Wilk test to analyze variations in trade quantities, providing robust insights into trade shocks caused by the conflict. Using data from both pre- and post-conflict periods, the study captures the fluctuating trade patterns between the two nations and examines the extent to which geopolitical instability can influence economic interactions. The analysis highlights a peak in Iraqi imports from Ukraine in mid-2021, followed by a sharp decline at the onset of the war in early 2022, with intermittent spikes in trade observed during the post-conflict phases. This demonstrates the war’s significant disruption to trade while emphasizing Iraq's economic resilience in navigating such challenges. The research contributes to a broader understanding of the implications of geopolitical conflicts on international trade, highlighting their destabilizing effects on supply chains and trade flows. Key recommendations for policymakers include the development of contingency strategies to mitigate the adverse effects of geopolitical instability on trade, the diversification of Iraq’s trading partners to reduce overdependence on specific regions, and the enhancement of internal economic resilience through targeted investment in non-oil sectors, particularly those that foster economic diversification and sustainable growth.

The Effect of Attribution on Altering the Semantics of the Verbal Sentence
Zainab Abdalrahman Aziz, Azza Adnan Ahmed Ezzat
Sematic studies are various and diverse, given the different perspectives on the lexical material under investigation, ranging from phonetics to morphology to syntax. Certainly, meaning changes with variations in grammatical attributions. In this study, we have examined the changes that occur in sentence meaning. There were 25 roots that began with the letter alif. We analyzed changes in meaning depending on whether the predicate or the subject was rational or irrational, male or female, child, or adult, singular or plural. This was done by examining the derivatives of these roots and their occurrences in sentences, which were over two hundred examples in total. It was confirmed that a complete separation between linguistic levels is nearly impossible. Since information should not be redundantly repeated in different forms, these levels must be intertwined, with some falling under others. The findings show that the most significant factor influencing meaning change is a shift in the subject, followed by a change in the object. Changes in the subject had effect on meaning depending on whether it was rational or irrational, masculine or feminine, an animal, plant, place, or other entity. Equally, changes in the object, upon which the verb is applied, followed the same patterns as those seen in the subject. Taking into consideration the complexity and variety of Arabic sentence structures, in the third part we compiled examples where meaning changed, sometimes because of the subject and due to the object in other occasions.
